Tips and shortcuts

Mouse

Desks

Click a desk: Select it — Turn, Copy, Remove appear
Drag a desk: Move it; desks snap together
Click a desk on the left: Add it to the middle of the room
Drag a desk from the left: Add it where you drop it
Shift + click: Select several desks
Shift + drag: Box-select several desks
Drag the Front bar: Move it; its notch faces the room

Seats

Drag a name to a seat: Seat them there
Click a name, then a seat: Same thing, no dragging
Drop on a taken seat: Swap the two students
Drag a name to the list: Take them out of their seat

Moving around

Drag an empty spot: Move the view
Scroll wheel: Scroll up and down
Shift + wheel: Scroll sideways
Ctrl + wheel: Zoom (or pinch)
Space + drag: Move the view from anywhere

Keyboard

Selected desk

R: Turn it — drag to spin
Shift: Hold while turning for 15° steps
Enter: Finish turning
CtrlD: Copy it
Delete: Remove it
Esc: Cancel a turn, or let go of a name

Anywhere

CtrlZ: Undo
CtrlShiftZ: Redo
CtrlS: Save now (it also saves on its own)
F: Full screen
